Cookie Policy

What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information between page loads - Such as whether you are signed in.
Cookies We Use
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| session | Keeps you signed in between page visits. Stores your user ID and a secure token. | Session (or 30 days if "Remember me" is selected) | Essential |
| csrf_token | Prevents cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks. Required for any form submission - Login, registration, puzzle save, competition entry. | Session | Essential |
Cookies We Do Not Use
- Advertising cookies - We do not use Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, or any other advertising network
- Analytics cookies - We do not use Google Analytics or similar third-party tracking services
- Social media cookies - No embedded social widgets that track you across sites
- Cross-site tracking - None of our cookies are used to track you on other websites
Managing Cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. The two cookies we use are essential to the service - Disabling them will prevent you from signing in. Guest play (without an account) does not require the session cookie; only the CSRF token is needed for form submissions.
Most browsers allow you to:
- View which cookies are stored and delete individual cookies
- Block cookies from specific sites
- Block all third-party cookies (our site has none, so this has no effect here)
- Set cookies to be cleared when you close the browser
Changes to This Policy
If we ever introduce new cookies we will update this policy and notify registered users by email. We are committed to keeping our cookie use minimal.
