1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Sudoku.by, including any language subdomain, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and anyone else who accesses the service.
2. Account Registration
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must:
- Be at least 13 years old to create an account
- Register only one account per person
- Not share your account credentials with others
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
3. Competitions and Fair Play
Competition entries must be completed using only the built-in puzzle interface without external assistance such as automated solvers, scripts, or other tools. You agree not to:
- Use any automated means to submit puzzle solutions
- Manipulate timing or scoring mechanisms
- Share solutions to active competition puzzles before the competition closes
- Create multiple accounts to gain competitive advantage
Entries that trigger our anti-cheat system will be reviewed. Entries determined to be illegitimate may be disqualified and the account may be suspended.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service
- Interfere with or disrupt the servers or networks connected to the service
- Upload or transmit any malicious code
- Scrape or systematically harvest puzzle content without prior written permission
- Reproduce puzzle grids at scale for commercial purposes without written agreement
5. Intellectual Property
The service, including its code, design, puzzle generation algorithms, and content, is owned by Playpen Studios and My First Games. Puzzle content is provided for personal, non-commercial use only. The Sudoku.by name and branding are trademarks of the respective owners.
6. User-Generated Content
If you submit feedback, support requests, or any other content through the platform, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use that content to improve the service. You retain ownership of anything you submit.
7. Service Availability
We aim to keep Sudoku.by available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled or emergency maintenance may result in temporary downtime. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service interruptions.
8. Limitation of Liability
Sudoku.by is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
