How Little Killer Sudoku Works

Little Killer Sudoku places clues outside the grid along with a diagonal arrow. The arrow points to a diagonal stripe of cells, and the clue gives the sum of all digits along that diagonal. Unlike standard Killer Sudoku cages, digits CAN repeat on Little Killer diagonals as long as they don't violate the row/column/box rules. This makes the arithmetic different from standard cage solving.

Standard Sudoku Rules Still Apply

Like all Sudoku variants, Little Killer Sudoku builds on the classic 9×9 foundation. Every row, column, and 3×3 box must contain each digit from 1 to 9 exactly once. The variant constraint is added on top of these standard rules, never replacing them.

If you're new to Sudoku, start by learning the basic rules and techniques before attempting variants.
